New Years Eve 2017

 New Years Eve...

For years as an unmarried radio jock I volunteered for New Year's Eve duty on the radio manning the airwaves with party tunes and airing whoever called from whatever party they were at and honestly, I thought I was the luckiest kid on the planet, I was guest of honor at everyone's New Year's Eve party and keep in mind, I was sober all night! Incredible!

Flash forward to today and I call my daughter who is 14 hours ahead in Japan, and I accidentally wake her up on December 31st-her time and thanks to technology I can see her and hear her tell me her New Year's Eve plans in Japan and once again, I am sober. AND the luckiest kid on the planet!!!

Faith

(Sometimes I just have to be reminded.)

Faith is one of those things I claim I have, but secretly hope I never have to use...like when bad times come and I'm like "Shoot, I hope the batteries are still good..."
